Founded in 2008, Vanstar Mining Resources Inc. (TSX-V : VSR) is a gold exploration company with properties located in Northern Quebec (Canada) at different stages of development.

Vanstar’s flagship asset is the Nelligan gold project with its initial inferred mineral resource of 3.2 million ounces of gold (published in October 2019).  Developed in conjunction with IAMGOLD Corporation, Nelligan is one of the most promising gold mining projects in Quebec.  Ongoing exploration work is expanding the mineralized zone of the project.   

The Nelligan Project won the “Discovery of the Year” award at the 2019 Quebec Mineral Exploration Association XPLOR Gala.

The company is also working on the development of other promising exploration properties such as the Felix and Amanda projects which are 100% owned by Vanstar.
